LOUNGING

LOUNGING

Capella Lodge is designed to encourage one of life's best and rarest treats: lounging. Capella's stylish contemporary beach-house design is one of relaxed sophistication and 'barefoot luxury'.

Outdoors, generous banquettes, sun lounges and Gervasoni ceramics of Gower's Terrace centre around a wet-edge pool, majestic mountains and reef break drawing to the horizon. It's the perfect place to relax with a loved one, to read a book or gaze into the distance, to reflect and refresh.

Flowing indoors is the Capella restaurant, open-plan bar and lounge, and the private Kentia Lounge that includes a book, magazine and DVD library, games and luxe lounge chairs with views to the mountains and the ocean.

Custom Bruce Goold 'Lord Howe' themed furnishings and mariner chic compliment contemporary designer fittings and marine ply joinery reflect Lord Howe's seafaring origins, its white-sanded beaches, kentia palms and subtropical forests. It's carefree, luxury lounging.

For my money, Capella Lodge is the funkiest place to stay on the island; an ultra luxurious resort with private suites, a spa and restaurant. It doesn't get any better than this.
