Sous Chef and Chef de Partie/ Breakfast Chef

To commence August 2019

Cuisine at Capella Lodge is designed to promote the fresh island flavours of superb local and regional produce. A surprising harvest springs from this tiny, pristine island blessed with rich soils and bountiful waters and from Capella’s own kitchen garden.

We are looking for a talented Sous Chef and Chef de Partie/ Breakfast Chef to work with the Executive Chef and small kitchen team to produce the fabulous food that our discerning guests appreciate.

The competitive salary package includes accommodation and all meals.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience, preferably within a variety of busy Restaurants or Hotels
  • Appropriate trade qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation flair
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of Australian produce, cuisine and industry standards
  • A passion for innovative food

Food & Beverage Attendant

To commence August 2019

Dining at Capella Lodge is at once refined and generous, sophisticated and relaxed, international and island-inspired. It’s a celebration of fine local produce, with an abundance of fresh line-caught fish, island-grown greens and foraged coastal herbs.

The restaurant opens to spectacular views of the lagoon and mountains, offering an idyllic backdrop for dining at every occasion throughout the day.

We require a well-presented, talented Food and Beverage Attendant to look after guests from around the world.

Skills & Experience

  • Valid RSA Certificate
  • At least 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Great communication skills and outgoing personality
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
